Assistive Technology Suppliers Australia (ATSA) engaged Mayvin Global to undertake a member satisfaction survey in 2023. The reasons for undertaking the survey were threefold:


  1. The last member satisfaction survey was undertaken in 2019, and the outcomes were not sufficiently robust to identify clear parameters for satisfaction or otherwise.

  2. Given the last few years of change and disruption, ATSA felt the time was right to find out member views for an industry ‘sense-check’.

  3. With changes taking place with the ATSA Board and executive, the opportunity to consider member views and any proposed improvements would be timely.


ATSA was able to glean important insights as to what was top of mind for businesses within the industry, assurance as to the overall performance of the association, as well as consider ideas Mayvin Global were able to able to formulate from the research findings; to advance the member value businesses believed they received. These included ideas in the areas of:


  • The role of the annual exhibition

  • Education and resourcing

  • Evolving membership value

  • Attracting new members

  • Marketing and communications

  • Change management

  • Member feedback processes
