Josephine Choi is a cultural professional with expertise in cultural economy research, data analytics, social media strategy, and international conference production. She is currently studying an MSc in Heritage Management at the Macao University of Tourism. She holds a Master’s degree in Arts and Cultural Management from LASALLE College of the Arts, University of the Arts Singapore. She was a research assistant for LASALLE College of the Arts and Friedrich-Naumann-Foundation for Freedom, Korea Office (2024). She has also worked as a digital communications manager for Communicating the Arts– an international conference (2023) .
Her projects include cultural and creative industries, urban study, cultural heritage, and gastronomy research in Macau, as well as the government Statistical Project on Cultural Industries. Her research, published in ENCATC Magazine Issue No.5 (2023) , examines cultural policies and stakeholder dynamics in Macau's leading urban revitalisation areas, offering insights into fostering creative industries and tourism.
As a Macau native, Josephine possesses in-depth knowledge of the region's cultural business landscape. She was a class leader in the 2025 Youth Creative Design Training Program (Creation 100) with UNESCO at Jinan University in Guangzhou, where she fostered collaboration with cultural business founders, local artists, and academic professionals to promote cultural innovation in Macau and mainland China.
