BLOG & NEWS
This month we celebrated the internationally recognised Flexible Working Day (#FWDay2019) which aims to highlight the benefits of working flexibly (outside of the traditional 9-5 at an office desk) for both people and their organisations.
When a senior person ‘gets’ a break or wants a break from their full-time gig, the common response to ‘what are you doing now?’ is usually, ‘I’m going to be a consultant for a while’. But what does that mean for the clients? How is that different to contracting? And, what is the best path for organisations looking for more support?

Mayvin Global Founder, Deanna Varga shares her board journey with Women on Boards
WHAT BOARDS DO YOU SIT ON?
Mayvin Global attended the (#SMF2018) in July; its eighth edition. This annual business events conference is managed by a Singapore business events trade association, SACEOS.
When you go out on your own, one of the first challenges is working out what to charge for your work. Sounds easy, right? Think again. Do you charge by the hour, the project, the month, the day? And do you charge what you want to earn, or what people will pay – or what you’re worth? How different are they?
Culture Business 2018 in Canberra is the leading conference for fundraising in the arts. Mayvin Global is proud to be a Conference Partner.
The ongoing Royal Commission into the banking, superannuation and financial services industry is only a glimpse into the financial, legal and moral challenges that a board member needs to navigate as the custodians of an organisation.
