TOURISM MARKET SOUNDING
Hill End is located in Regional NSW, about 4 hours drive from Sydney.
Mayvin Global’s brief was to conduct market sounding with key stakeholders (from government to local residents and tourism operators within Hill End, Bathurst and Mudgee), with a focus on understanding and determining what would attract high yield visitors to visit, spend money and stay longer in Hill End or the surrounding regions of Bathurst, Mudgee and Orange.
The Market Sounding Findings were mapped against six factors considered to make a world class heritage attraction:

Seasonality and Tailored Programming
Measuring and Capitalising on Value
Mayvin Global developed 14 key recommendations that were divided into two priority groups. They were also asked to facilitate a number of NPWS staff workshops with the view of incorporating the findings of the project into future strategic business plans.
